A fun and secure learning environment for your children

Smartees Day Care Nursery is a privately owned, professional childcare nursery located five minutes from Yeovil town center and is close to many large companies and businesses. We provide 48places for children aged between 3 months and 8 years across 3 rooms.

The safety of your children is paramount to us and we have certain systems in place to ensure this. Our nursery is Ofsted registered and inspected. All our staff hold relevant qualifications and are DBS checked. We also offer nutritious meals for children and our kitchen is inspected yearly by South Somerset District Council.

We provide nutritious meals cooked on-site by our staff. All meals and snacks are included in the costs of the sessions and we can accommodate any dietary or allergy requirements.

Baby and Toddler Rooms

Baby room is a warm and caring room for the babies. Each baby is given a trial session prior to starting. They are given the opportunity to bond with their key person.

All our baby room staff are qualified and sensitive to each child's needs. We provide children a wide range of activities that helps them develop their learning skills.

Our toddler room is ideal for the little children on the move, who are ready to transition to a more challenging environment.

Each child is given a key person to bond with, this key person will closely observe and assess your child's level of development and plan their activities.

Pre-school Rooms

Our pre-school comprises of separate areas to help maximise your child's learning and encourage independence.

The messy area encourages children's independence, they are free to choose from a range of activities such as painting, cutting and sticking. All our activities help children develop their motor skills and creativity.

The playroom has many permanent learning areas including role play, a book corner and children can also access construction and musical instruments.

The circle time area is used for activities such as puzzles, games and adult led activities such as threading, phonics, letters and sounds.

The children also have access to some Montessori equipment and a range of natural and curiosity items.
