Partnership with parents and carers

We know that the bond between parents, carers and their children is a very important one.  We welcome them into our nurseries and value them as their child’s first and foremost educators aiming to build a strong relationship with them. 

Each child is given a key worker to build up a secure relationship with the whole family.  They are responsible for monitoring your child’s development with photos and observations to show their progress. We use an online journal system called *Tapestry which enables parents and carers to access and contribute to their development records from home.

An open and honest relationship

We are very aware of the need for confidentiality and work with parents from the very beginning to strike up an open and honest relationship, which includes being able to talk freely and share experiences together.
